About

Welcome to POGO! We make VBS that’s wild, weird, and engaging for your K-5th grader.

What does “POGO” mean?

POGO stands for four things God wants kids to have…

P – Praying Hearts! God has called us to be prayer warriors (or as we like to say, “Prayer NINJAS!”)

O – Open Eyes! God wants our eyes to be open and reading the B-I-B-L-E (yes that’s the book for me), God’s word!

G – Giving Hands! God loves a cheerful giver, and wants us to put others first, me last!

O – Obedient Feet! God wants us to use our feet and GO out into the world to preach the gospel!

Who are you guys, really?

POGO was founded by a kids pastor named Josh and his awesome wife, Shannon. They both have backgrounds in the creative arts and education. Josh worked professionally as an illustrator and video producer for many years before being called into full-time ministry. After years of trying other people’s stuff, they decided to make their own!

What age group is POGO for?

Our primary focus is K-5th grade, but it’s geared towards the older kids. When the older kids are engaged, the rest of them follow!

POGO is also highly engaging, energetic, and a little bit weird. We often say we’re for the “wiggly” kids.

Is this physical media or digital?

POGO VBS is 100% digital.

What size church is this designed for?

POGO VBS is designed for small to medium sized churches, but it can easily be adapted to big churches as well. We actually developed this for our own large church first! If it doesn’t keep our own kids engaged, we won’t sell it. Period.
